Baptisms are celebrated on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month at 1:00 pm. Parents and Godparents are required to attend a Baptismal preparation class before their child receives the sacrament. Both Godparents need to be practicing, Confirmed Catholics.  If they live out of state, they can attend a Baptismal Preparation Class in their home parish or submit a letter from their parish stating that they are Catholics in good standing. Baptismal preparation classes are conducted here at Ascension on the third Saturday of the month at 10:00 am.  To register for the class and obtain additional information, please contact the parish office at 561-997-5486. (Please note: scheduling conflicts occasionally arise – please call the parish office prior to your class to confirm the day and time). When the Baptismal preparation class has been completed, parents can schedule the day for their child’s Baptism.

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available on Saturdays in the church from 3:15 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. or by appointment. To schedule an appointment please call the office at 561-997-5486.
