General Information

Ascension offers a variety of programs tailored to meet the needs of children from PreK through High School. Children of parishioners and non-members of Ascension parish are eligible to participate in our religious education program.  Our classes prepare students for sacraments and serve to strengthen our parish children in their faith.

Registration is now open for the 2023-2024 Religious Education year. There is no charge for our program unless it is a sacramental year.

After your registration is completed, you will receive the schedule by email.

ALL CLASSES WILL BE HELD ON SUNDAYS. CLASSES BEGIN SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, 2023.

Pre-K through Grade 6 – Family Center, 11:15 a.m. – Noon

First Communion Class – Famiy Center, 11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m. (REGISTRATION FOR FIRST COMMUNION IS NOW CLOSED)

Grade 7 & 8 (Pre-Confirmation) – Parish Office, Conference Room, 11:15 a.m. – Noon

Confirmation Class (High School) – Family Center, 11:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. (REGISTRATION FOR CONFIRMATION IS NOW CLOSED)

Registration

Online Registration 

Only one registration form is required per family.

Registration for First Communion and Confirmation programs is now closed. (If the student was enrolled in another First Communion or Confirmation program at another parish, we will accept the student as a transfer.)

Fees

The only fees required are for those students preparing to receive Sacraments this year (First Holy Communion or Confirmation). We encourage family Mass attendance and the use of envelopes or Faith Direct to support the parish. The Sacrament Fees as shown below:

First Communion Fee: $50/child

Confirmation Fee: $50/child

Fee can be paid by cash or check at the parish office or the Information Booth after weekend Masses. We also accept PayPal. (On PayPal, please add a note, “For religious education.”)
